Warranty Exclusions
- Speaker Pods
- Was the speaker pod purchased within the required time period for a warranty claim of 1-year
- Defects or damage caused by accident, improper installation, plain old abuse, fire, flood, lightning, or other acts of mother nature
- Damage caused during shipping. If your package looks to be damaged on the outside, then we would hope you would refuse delivery of the package first and foremost. If not, and you accept a damaged package, then these claims must be made with the shipping company
- Adjustments or alterations required for compatibility, i.e. extra speaker pod mounting holes, any speaker mounting holes, bored out speaker holes, melting or reforming of the speaker pod, or cutting pieces out of the speaker pod
- Speaker Pods that were used and subject to fatigue through normal wear and use
- Speaker Pods which have been altered by anyone other than the speaker pod manufacturer
- Speakers
- Was the speaker purchased within the required time period for a warranty claim, typically 1 year, but some suppliers offer 2 years. You will have to check the Speaker Supplier Policies Tab
- Burned/open voice coils or busted suspensions due to over-driving.
- Blown outputs or a blown power supplies in amplifiers due to overdriving or under voltage.
- Defects or damage caused by accident, improper installation, plain old abuse, fire, flood, lightning, or other acts of mother nature.
- Damage caused during shipping or handling. These claims are made with the Freight Company.
- Accessories attached to or to be used with speaker products.
- Products that have their serial numbers removed.
- Adjustments or alterations required for compatibility with conditions prevailing in foreign countries.
- Items subject to fatigue through normal wear and use, i.e. speaker baskets
- Product which has been altered or repaired by anyone other than the speaker manufacturer, or an authorized Service Center of that manufacturer.
- Broken or creased cones due to abuse or other physical damage
- Damaged dust caps
- Previously reconed speakers
- Broken speaker terminals
- Speakers returned without prior authorization
