Were very easy to install and they are great. Love the improved front sound stage. I must mention, in my application, the pods did not provide a complete air seal to the a-pillar trim pieces. With a few strips of speaker gasketing tape I was able to seal them up pretty well and so overall I am satisfied. 9/10.

Nicely built, beautifully finished, but… Considering the average 8” speaker is taller than your average 6.5” woofer or midrange, I was hoping these would allow for better motor clearance since they are on the outside of the door, protruding from the panels. I purchased, installed, and tried these single 8” pods for my 2023 F-150 and my D4S Hexicone 8s didn’t fit, my Audio Dynamics 2000 series 8s didn’t fit, and not even my Kicker KM8 marine 8s fit in these; at least not without a 1/4” to 1/2” spacer ring, which looks rather ugly. I used a 1/2” DS18 LED spacer ring, but didn’t hook up the lights since it already looked goofy. Most pro audio 8s have pretty beefy motors and unfortunately, this single 8 pod doesn’t provide that great of a mounting depth because the speaker magnets will hit the inner door skin (metal). I already hacked up my panels to fit these pods and really don’t wanna hack up the inner door metal to get fairly average drivers to work in these. Especially not on such a new truck. Other than the mounting depth being a bummer, these are awesome pods overall. Install was super easy, as usual with CSP products ??

Quick, fairly easy install. Great fit and finish. Gave me more midbass that I was lacking before.

These dual 8” were a great addition. I put sound deadening on the back sides to eliminate any vibrations. It took about 2hrs. per side while taking your time and taping up the front of the pod to eliminate any scratches. Once all speakers were installed it helped the flimsy center of the pod between the speakers stiffen up and was very solid. The pods sound great with the speaker I purchased. I just ordered the sail panels and can’t wait to get them and install them.

Bought these to install on my 2002 GMC 1500 and man did these get me out of a bind. I had already bought speakers not knowing how much custom door panels cost to have made. I wandered upon these on social media and decided to give them a shot. Fit and Finish was exactly what I expected. Hugs the curves of my panel and keeps the speaker secured. I’ll be buying more for future projects.

These protect my mids so good and look even better. I can’t see why anyone wouldn’t want thump covers guarding their mids.
