I like the look and fitment but I had to make some speaker rings to reinforce the cutout because my speakers are heavy and the pods had a lot of flex due to the weight of the speakers and after installing them they still have a lot of flex when closing the door so now I’m looking for some Neo speakers that match my 300 watt per speaker and same fitment in the cut outs that aren’t gonna cost an arm and a leg

If you want it shorter or more detailed, just tell me. ? ?????????? 5/5 – Perfect Fit & Huge Upgrade for My Accord I installed these Dual 6.5” Speaker Pods on the front doors of my 2008–2012 Honda Accord, and I’m honestly impressed. The fitment is spot-on—no weird gaps, no trimming needed, and the mounting holes lined up exactly where they should. The pods feel solid and well-made, not flimsy like some of the cheaper options. The biggest improvement is the sound. The pods give the speakers a much better position and angle, so the highs and mids project right into the cabin. My system immediately sounded clearer, louder, and more focused. They also look clean and factory-like once installed, which I really appreciate. If you’re upgrading your front stage or running a more powerful setup, these pods are definitely worth it. Great build, great fitment, and excellent sound improvement. Highly recommended for any 08–12 Accord owner trying to get more performance out of their speakers.

Slight modification to enlarge the 3.5" to fit the JL 3.5" Mid-Tweeters. I had just reupholstered the headliner and had wrapped the A pillars as well. So I think wrapping the A pillar pods really ties it all together with a factory look.

Unbelievably user-friendly to install!!!! And unbelievably affordable when I used code “BUMPIN” to save some cash. The pod’s themselves fit with a nice flush mount and greatly boosted my sound especially due to the fact that there’s no stock speaker location there.

I purchased a set of speaker pods from CustomSpeakerPods.com for my F-150, and while the build quality is excellent, there are some serious fitment issues that weren’t mentioned in the product description. The pods fit securely and provide a solid mounting solution, with some additional modifications. But they block both my glove box and my emergency brake. I didn’t realize the glove box issue until I was pulled over and couldn’t access my registration and insurance without opening the passenger door—not exactly a situation you want to be in. On top of that, I can’t engage or release my emergency brake without opening the driver’s side door, which is a major inconvenience. These are things I would have liked to know before purchasing. If you have an F-150, be aware of these potential problems. Hopefully, the company updates their product description to reflect these issues. The quality is great, but the lack of crucial fitment details is disappointing.

I recommend getting pods for your hummer best choice I ever made came with hardware for easy installation, My hummer is louder then before thanks to custom speaker pods.

The stock speakers and any aftermarket swap was not cutting it. I have had mine installed for years and they have seen (4) different sets of 6.5”s and all sounded great. I love the surround sound vibes you get with back doors this loud!
The pods fit my pillars perfectly and fit bigger tweeters and 3.5 mids than I expected. The install was simple quick and easy. I swapped out my Dual 3.5” pods for these and it was an incredible difference. They don’t block my view of the windshield and my stock pillars popped in without hassle. Definitely recommend these if you like your music LOUD LOUD
